After school today, hustle over to Room 202 to participate in a Breakout Edu challenge. The game is similar to an escape room, but instead of breaking out of a locked room, your challenge is to break into a locked box by analyzing clues and solving puzzles. The game is the ultimate platform for supporting collaboration, critical thinking, communication, and creativity , but it’s also great for general team building and strengthening camaraderie, so teachers, coaches, club advisors, department chairs, team leads, people who work with other humans….. this one’s for you.
Plus, the games are fun. Really stinkin’ fun.
The game is timed and will begin promptly at 1:10, so get here early and be ready work together to learn a little about pop art, break out of your routine, and break into something new and exciting.
After the game, you will be given an access code to the Breakout Edu website and learn how you can check out a box (or two) to bring the challenge to your own classes and teams. You will also have a full paid hour to explore more games and begin planning.
Today’s paid PD will run from 1-3pm.
