Our next student-free day will be Wednesday, March 29th and will center around teacher-requested breakout sessions, with an emphasis on open-minded, exploratory, inquiry-based conversations and peer collaboration.
All breakouts have been planned based upon staff requests and suggestions and will be led by volunteer discussion facilitators. You will have the opportunity to attend three sessions of interest to you and then we will all convene in the library for a final conversation where we will have a chance to meet up with teachers who share the same burning questions, interests, and ideas and decide "where we go from here."
We have extended the length of each breakout to provide teacher work time in which you can begin to apply what you have learned and discussed to your own practice. We hope this makes the day more meaningful and efficient and allows you time to plan.
Please review the list of options and reserve your spot today!
Below you will find the session descriptions, the selection form, and the agenda for the day.
If you have any questions, please post them in the comments!
