Are you ready to move more of your classroom online? If so, Google Classroom is a great way to organize your content and facilitate the distribution, completion, and grading of digital assignments.
Please come out to our PD this Wednesday, October 28th, from 1-2PM. We will meet in Mr. Arauz's classroom (Room 249) and use the Chromebooks, so that we can get hands-on practice just the way our students will experience it.
Google Classroom is also one of the requirements of Google Certification, so come on out to gain the skills and confidence you need to pass that test! Feel free to post your questions to this blog or email them to Amanda at email@example.com .
See you there!
Unable to make it to the PD? You can complete this on your own and still get paid by completing these three steps before Friday, November 6th:
1. Watch this tutorial video
2. Join our KHS Teacher PD Classroom using the join code 4fztika and complete Assignment #1
(we will be using this Classroom for all future Google PDs).
3. Create your own Google Classroom and send your "Join Code" to firstname.lastname@example.org.
***Tip for first-time users: You and your students must be logged into Google through your district accounts in order to access Classroom.
***Troubleshooting hint: Internet Explorer and Google Apps are not friends. Make sure you use Mozilla or Chrome in order to get full functionality whenever you are working within the Google Apps Suite.
