Are you tired of having to nitpick at your students’ grammar? Do you want to spend your time evaluating your students’ grasp and analysis of the content rather than editing their spelling and punctuation? Put down that red pen because Grammarly is here to rescue you!
All KHS students and staff now have access to premium Grammarly features (normally $30/month) to help them with both basic grammar, as well as style.
What’s great about Grammarly is that it doesn’t just give students the corrections, it tells them which rules they have broken and provides examples of correct usage. Grammarly also emails at the end of each week to give feedback about a user’s most common errors and how they rank against other Grammarly users.
Follow this link to find out more about how your students (and you!) can use Grammarly to remedy bad grammar and save you both time. This document will talk you through the process of creating an account and how to install an extension that will edit you and your students’ grammar wherever you write: Outlook, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
Many students have already installed Grammarly through their English class, so just ask them! Do not let them turn in another paper without first running it through Grammarly.
Please contact me for assistance if you encounter any issues with account creation. If you are unable to install, put in a HelpDesk request.
