I wanted to share five extensions that are really stinkin' awesome.
They are time-savers, class-flippers, and game-changers. Math and Chem teachers, check out #2!
Easily write equations and formulas on Google Docs. Learn more here and access the quick resource guide here. The paid version has even more features like predictive text, handwriting recognition, and Forms integration...hit up your department chairs. ;)
3. Drive Slides
This extension can take a folder of images stored in your Google Drive and automatically create a Slides presentation with one image on each slide. No inserting or copy & pasting for you.
Create tutorial videos, like the ones above. Limited to ten minutes, but if you're talking at your kids for more than ten minutes, you're doing it wrong. Cropping and editing features available with upgraded version.
5. Awesome Screenshot
Capture an entire web page or snip a specific portion and edit the image. Add annotations, comments, blur sensitive info, and easily share or save.
Which of these extensions can you see yourself using in your classroom?
Let me know which one strikes your fancy in the comments.
